The Multiplier Event was dedicated to providing an overview of the OREN project and more specifically, Dr. Georgios Tsaples (the founder of Intelligent Decision Support Systems-IDS, one of the OREN partners) illustrated how with OREN’s interactive simulation/learning environment, each entrepreneur will be able to analyze the possible behavior of his business model over time and how it reacts to the many interactions with environmental variables.

Apart from information on the OREN project, the attendees had the opportunity to hear about the financial relationship between bank and entrepreneur and the assistance that a robust financing gives to the new generation of rural entrepreneurs, by the CEO of the Cooperative Bank of Karditsa, Mr. Panagiotis Tournavitis.

Finally, a key position in the workshop was taken by Mrs. Maria Papadopoulou, who as an engineer and Project Manager at AECOM, developed the way in which large companies can help, through this kind of programs, on the relationship between Rural Development and renewable energy sources.
