On November 21, 2023, ITKAM organized the on-site Multiplier Event of the OREN project in Frankfurt am Main, hosted at HOLM – House of Logistics and Mobility. HOLM is a well-known association fostering innovation, which is why ITKAM chose to organize the event at their premises. The event was conducted in German, where 30 participants attended with a lot of interest in the main insights and topics of the Event.

ITKAM decided to name the event “#ITKAM4Europe: Networking Event” in order to attract as many participants as possible.

The event aimed to:

      • Raise awareness about the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme
      • Present the OREN projects and the achieved results so far

      • Engage stakeholders through a call-to-action to build a community interested in the project results, as well as to prepare for the next project activities

      • Facilitate networking among stakeholders interested in rural entrepreneurship, innovation, lifelong learning, and the Erasmus+ Programme

The event was organized in three main phases: Presentation of ITKAM and an overview of the training opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ Programme (including platforms like the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform and EPALE)

  1. Presentation of the OREN projects, results, and call-to-action
  2. Networking time and buffet

Participants expressed their appreciation for the organization of the event both on-site and through the feedback survey. They also expressed interest in staying informed about OREN’s upcoming activities. Several participants highlighted the usefulness of platforms such as EPALE and the EPRP. It became evident that many teachers and trainers (regardless of whether in adult education, higher education, school, or vocational education and training) were unaware that all materials produced by Erasmus+ projects can be used free of charge. They showed significant interest in utilizing our project materials and recognized the high potential for transferring the materials produced in the OREN project (we also presented some of the slides prepared for PR4 to give them a clearer idea of the materials that will soon be available).

The attendance of participants belonging to the primary target group of the OREN project such as local public bodies and development agencies, higher education institutions, SMEs, and media representatives was very relevant for the success of the event. Furthermore, we also invited stakeholders who are not the primary target group of the OREN project (e.g., universities and students, vocational education and training providers, secondary schools) to maximize the exploitation of the project results and ensure their transferability across education sectors.
